United World Wrestling Coaches Education Pathway 2017-2021

 

Collaboration is the Key to Success

  • UWW Coaches Commission designates the members of Coaches Expert Group by 15 November 2017
  • Once designated, a Coaches Expert Group Meeting will take place headed by the Coaches Commission Chair Mr. Hideaki Tomiyama
  • The members of the group will provide, create and review the content of UWW Coaching Education Pathway 2017-2019 in collaboration with UWW Development Department

 

Expert Group for Coaches Education and Milestones

Coaches Expert Group comprises experts from wrestling strong nations in all 3 styles: Freestyle, Women and Greco-Roman wrestling. The group members can also be from other commissions such as UWW Technical and Scientific Commissions

UWW Technical Course for Coaches Level 1 Content is ready , approved and available to all National Federations as 15 October 2017. Currently the Technical Courses for Coaches in Wrestling Level 2 & 3, as well as the Advanced Clinic for Coaches in Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women’s wrestling are under review and will be published soon.

 

United World Wrestling Coach Educators

Educator Course for experienced referees and coaches will be delivered in the following languages in 2018 (in planning):

  • Spanish 
  • French
  • Russian 

Content delivered at these courses will be defined with UWW Coaches and Refereeing Commission

 

OBJECTIVE: Supporting the development of wrestling with the help of courses for trainers under the Model Coaching Competences, Establishing Quality Procedures
