In 2014 United World Wrestling began working on the implementation of a new Coach Education pathway. The Pilot phase of the Level 1 of this new system have been run in Bangladesh and the Dominican Republic. The Coach Education pathway forms a fundamental part of the United World Wrestling Academy.
The pathway will provide a clear route for coaches to develop their technical knowledge for the appropriate level they are coaching. The pathway has been developed in consultation with an Expert Working Group on Education, and follows the best practice of the International Council of Coaching Excellence Framework.
GOAL: Support the development of wrestling by courses for coaches under
Coaching Competences Model, Establishing quality procedures

•5 day courses (40 hours)
•Competency-based, theoretical & practical exam
•Delivered by Certified Educators only
